BIO

I call Salt Lake City, Utah my home and have worked commercially as an architectural photographer here and though out the surrounding sates for over a decade. Centrally located in the western United Sates, Salt Lake City is a diverse and ever-changing metropolis surrounded by incredible peaks and colorful deserts. With access to major north to south and east to west interstate highways, as well as, an international airport fifteen minutes away, travel is a simple and enjoyable.

As an architectural photographer, I am commissioned by architects, construction companies, interior designers and editorial publications, locally and from around the United States to help bring recognition to their work. Our architectural images are primarily used for portfolio and marketing purposes. Stock photography is also part of my business. These images are eventually deposited into the Getty Archives.

Over the years I have lived in various parts of the United States. New York City, small town New Hampshire, Bozeman, Montana, Santa Barbara California and Salt Lake City, Utah. New York was where I was born, raised and introduced to photography. Small town New Hampshire is where I attended undergrad and became passionate for the mountains and quiet places. Bozeman, where this passion for quiet places and the mountains grew and I played. In Santa Barbara, to grow and explore my talents at the Brooks Institute of Photography. It was here at Brooks where I discovered architectural photography and assisted for various architectural photographers. Finally I landed in Salt Lake City, where I call home, and attempt to live a balanced life of work and recreation. Sometimes, on a really good day, they blend together.

I love what I do, as no job is ever the same. Creative problem solving, self-motivation and a sense of vision are required. Having a handle on technology in our ever changing, digital world is crucial. Sometimes it all keeps me up at night, but it also gets me going in the morning!
