BIO

Over the years I have lived in various parts of the United States. New York City, small town New Hampshire, Bozeman, Montana, Santa Barbara California and Salt Lake City, Utah. New York was where I was born, raised and introduced to photography. Small town New Hampshire is where I attended undergrad and became passionate for the mountains and quiet places. Bozeman, where this passion for quiet places and the mountains grew and I played. Santa Barbara, to grow and explore my talents at the Brooks Institute of Photography. And now Salt Lake City, where I call home, and attempt to live a balanced life of work and recreation. Sometimes, on a really good day, they blend together.
I have employed myself full time as an architectural photographer for the past ten years, living in the state of Utah and working regionally. A place surrounded by incredible mountains, colorful deserts, an evolving city, and the entire west at my fingertips.
I photograph for architects, builders and interior designers, to categorize a few, locally and from around the United States. Our images are primarily used for portfolio and marketing purposes. Stock photography is also part of my business. These images are eventually deposited into the Getty Archives.
I love what I do, as no job is ever the same. Creative problem solving, self-motivation and a sense of vision are required. Having a handle on technology in our ever changing, digital world is crucial. Sometimes it all keeps me up at night, but it also gets me going in the morning!
